COLUMBIA, Mo. — Ashton Judd was quick out of the blocks.
Twelve seconds into Missouri women’s basketball’s 98-57 win over Indiana State on Thursday night, the sophomore guard pulled up from 3 and drained the shot. After an offensive slow patch, Judd stormed into the paint for a layup, then another 3, broke a set of ankles for a midrange pull-up and other bucket from deep.
Judd scored 13 of Mizzou’s first 15 points in less than five minutes en route to finishing with a career-high 31 points. She surpassed her previous career high of 17 points with just under seven minutes left in the third quarter.
