Jamieson out as Missouri baseball coach

COLUMBIA, Mo. • Tim Jamieson is done as Missouri’s longtime baseball coach. After his 22nd season as the Tigers head coach ended short of NCAA postseason play, Jamieson has resigned, MU announced Saturday. Jamieson could join the athletics department in an administrative role, the school said in a news release.

"I would like to express my appreciation for all the players and coaches who I have had the honor of working with during my 28 baseball seasons at the University of Missouri," Jamieson said in a prepared statement. "I am proud of what they have accomplished in the sport of Baseball but more importantly how positively they have represented the Mizzou Baseball Program as well as the University of Missouri.
