It's a changing of the guard for Mizzou's football team

MEMPHIS, Tenn. • Disappointment turned to reflection for some of the Missouri football seniors shortly after losing Monday’s Liberty Bowl to Oklahoma State.

The oldest players on coach Barry Odom’s team came to Mizzou in 2014, just as the Tigers were winning consecutive Southeastern Conference East Division titles. But the success didn’t last and while severe roster turnover contributed to struggles on the field, the program underwent a head-coaching change and two losing seasons before things stabilized in 2017.

Along the way, 25 players from the 2014-15 recruiting classes left the program before their eligibility expired.
