It’s the busiest time of the year for St. Louisan Joe Buck, the lead play-by-play announcer for Fox Sports’ MLB and NFL coverage.
He is in the midst of calling the World Series for the 20th time, after broadcasting the American League Championship Series last week. Earlier this month, he called marquee NFL contests — including Green Bay-Dallas. And his stellar talk show, “Undeniable With Joe Buck,” just kicked off its third season.
It’s pretty heady stuff, although all of it is just part of the calendar rolling through October for Buck.
But there is a caveat this year.
