COLUMBIA, Mo. — Show up to a Missouri men’s basketball practice and you’ll probably see an ant turned into a scapegoat.
So goes second-year point guard Anthony Robinson II’s development.
“I blame everything on him in practice so he can take some stress,” MU coach Dennis Gates said. “He allows me to do it. I know it’s frustrating, but you have to prepare guys a certain way.”
It’s how Gates coaches Robinson, who’s really just known as Ant around the building. Robinson grew up a coach’s kid, which means he spent more than a few practices under a microscope.
