How Mizzou, Brady Cook plan to handle QB's wrist injury during final 3 games

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Brady Cook will end his college career playing in a manner that he has for significant stretches of his tenure as Missouri’s starting quarterback: through injuries.

Cook returned from those injuries — a high ankle sprain and a right wrist issue — to play the entirety of the Tigers’ weekend loss against South Carolina and is in line to continue appearing on the field for Mizzou’s final two regular-season games and eventual bowl game.

“He’s dealing with multiple injuries that aren’t fully recovered yet,” MU coach Eli Drinkwitz said Tuesday. “But he’s choosing to play — much like he did several years ago.
