Robin Pingeton’s time at Mizzou Arena will officially come to a close today, as Mizzou WBB closes out the regular season on senior night today against Vanderbilt. Later this week the Tigers will be playing in the SEC Tournament on Wednesday, March 5 with their exact seed TBD.
Unless Mizzou goes on some sort of heroic run in the conference tournament, a trip to the Big Dance is completely off the table. There’s a chance they will be selected into either the WBIT or the WNIT, but I’d say the odds of a postseason appearance are about 40%; and the chances of getting a home game in that run are even slimmer.
