Junior swimmer Hannah Stevens is set to make her U.S. National Team debut Saturday in Indianapolis. The backstroker will compete at the USA College Challenge, a dual meet between the U.S. National Team and an all-star team of Big Ten swimmers.
Stevens finished fifth in the 100-meter backstroke at the 2016 Olympic Trials, and she received first-team All-American honors in March as part of Missouri’s 400-yard medley relay. She is a member of the U.S. National Team in the 100-meter backstroke.
Missouri coach Mark Gangloff knows the excitement of swimming for America; he competed at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics.
