Halftime report: Lock thrives in home opener

The Tigers treated their fans well in the first half of their home opener. Missouri takes a 33-7 lead to the locker room.

Here are a few takeaways from the first half:

Lock throws better than he runs: Drew Lock fumbled at the goal line on an attempted quarterback sneak, killing a Missouri drive in the first quarter. Luckily for the Tigers, the sophomore was much more successful with his arm. He completed 14 of 19 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns.

Penton comes up big: Cornerback Aarion Penton intercepted his second pass of the season and returned the ball 63 yards to the Eastern Michigan 7-yard line.
