There are varying levels of Missouri fans. On one end of the spectrum is the fan who owns a couple of Mizzou sweatshirts and will watch the Tigers if they happen to be on TV and it doesn’t conflict with their leaf raking schedule. From there it progresses to the person who catches a game or two at Faurot if the weather cooperates, until you get to the other extreme…the fan who has opinions on how often the Tigers run a 4-3 verses the nickel, or recognize the name Bill Connelly.
Somewhere along that more obsessive extreme lies the fan who holds a special fascination for the year 1960.
