ATHENS, Ga. • An extended scuffle broke out between Missouri and Georgia players and coaches as time expired at the end of the first half. With Missouri on top of the home team 26-20, MU's Jordan Geist and Georgia's Yante Maten wrestled for the ball as time expired and both benches emptied onto the court along the baseline. Georgia director of operations Kent Davison was the most heated and at one point appeared to grab Missouri player Trevor Glassman, which set off MU assistant Steve Shields, who tried pulling Davison away from the scrum.
