COLUMBIA, MO. • Arkansas had the lead heading into the fourth quarter but Missouri had all the momentum. Nate Strong's 1-yard touchdown plunge to open the fourth quarter gave the Tigers three straight touchdowns and their first lead of the day, 28-24 lead with 12:48 left in the game.
The Tigers outscored the Razorbacks 14-0 in the third quarter to carve into Arkansas’ lead, opening with Strong’s 2-yard touchdown run on a drive set up by two long completions to J’Mon Moore.
Arkansas was in position to extend its lead on the next possession, but on third and goal from 3, cornerback Aarin Penton flushed quarterback Austin Allen out of the pocket and forced a bad pass over the middle, plucked by linebacker Cale Garrett near the goal line.
