Gameday blog: Arkansas climbs in front of Mizzou

COLUMBIA, MO. • Arkansas leads Missouri 14-7 after an eventful first quarter at Memorial Stadium.

The pregame senior day ceremony had barely ended by the time the Razorbacks were in the end zone. On the game’s first play from scrimmage Austin Allen’s play-action pass to Keon Hatcher picked up 66 yards all the way down to the 1-yard line. Rawleigh Williams II punched in the touchdown a snap later.

Into the red zone on slot receiver Johnathon Johnson’s 82-yard run on a jet sweep, the Tigers evened the score on the season’s strangest touchdown. Running back Ish Witter cruised in on an 8-yard touchdown, but replay review showed he tossed the ball to the turf before crossing the goal line.
