COLUMBIA, MO. • Earlier this week, Missouri coach Kim Anderson called South Carolina his favorite team to watch and least favorite to play.
Anderson had a front-row seat Saturday as the No. 23 Gamecocks showed what he meant. His Tigers played another competitive first half, rallied with a few spurts in the second but, ultimately, delivered the result Mizzou fans have seen too many times to count.
South Carolina’s 63-53 victory stretched the Tigers’ losing streak to 12 games, tying for the second-longest in team history. Anderson’s first Missouri team in 2014-15 holds the record with a 13-game skid.
