COLUMBIA, MO. • In high school, Richaud Floyd and Jonathan Nance used to talk about their future college football careers. They talked about going to the same school and playing in the same uniform for four years.
Instead, the two left Gulfport High in Gulfport, Miss., for different schools. Floyd went north to Missouri, and Nance stayed in-state at Mississippi Gulf Coast before finding his way to the Southeastern Conference at Arkansas in 2017.
Four years later, they will make good on their dream to play for the same team.
Nance took advantage of the new redshirt rule and decided to transfer for his graduate year after playing four games for Arkansas last season.
