Foul trouble follows Tilmon as Mizzou loses at S. Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. • Nearly a third of Sunday’s game was left to play when Jeremiah Tilmon slammed his right elbow into the hardwood at Colonial Life Arena, an emphatic punctuation to his latest cameo in a Missouri uniform.

Another game abbreviated by Tilmon’s inability to avoid fouls left the Tigers short-handed against a rugged South Carolina team that plays with the same fire that brews along their sideline inside walking inferno Frank Martin.

In a game delayed a day by Friday’s snowstorm, the Tigers had the 3-point shooting to make the Gamecocks sweat but ran out of resources to claw back in an 85-75 loss.
