Jordan Harold came to Missouri as a walk-on. Now, he’s earned the right to add his name to the distinguished list of starting defensive ends at Mizzou.
Harold, a fifth-year senior, has been named a starter at defensive end and a team captain. The Tigers’ depth chart for the opener against FCS opponent Missouri State was released Tuesday.
Harold beat out junior college transfer Nate Anderson and freshman Chris Turner for the starting job opposite Marcell Frazier. He’s taking the place of top pass-rusher Charles Harris, who entered the NFL draft following last season and went to the Miami Dolphins in the first round.
