Missouri coach Tim Jamieson told local media that Hunt could make a contribution as a reliever this seaspn. And one of the Tigers’ top players, pitcher Tanner Houck, told reporters Hunt has impressed during team workouts.

Hunt was a two-sport star in high school and signed to play junior college baseball; he was known for his live arm. But he changed his mind and walked-on to Missouri’s football team in 2011.
