COLUMBIA, MO. • Missouri has dabbled in football’s graduate transfer market but without much success. Oklahoma running back Alex Ross barely made an impact in 2016. Alabama receiver Chris Black a smidge more but not much.

Now the Tigers have two in camp, both from Oregon, both with chances to be regular contributors this fall, safety Khalil Oliver and wide receiver Alex Ofodile. Oliver didn’t arrive on campus until July, but he’s found a home in the secondary and stands a good chance to be a starter in the opener Sept. 1 against UT-Martin.

Oliver made 73 tackles in 23 games at Oregon from 2015-17 but suffered a season-ending injury after starting last year’s opener.
