Regardless of whether or not you believe Boston College should be ranked, the fact is that they were ranked as they entered this game and gave your Tigers the first legitimate test of the year. And, hey, Missouri got a win! Let’s discuss.
1. This defense is legit
I’m not saying they are without issues. A young secondary had numerous busts in coverage that allowed two touchdowns, including falling asleep at the wheel late in the 4th quarter. Until proven otherwise, I am not convinced this secondary won’t be a liability for several games going forward.
