First half three-point explosion powers Mizzou to 83-65 win over rival Arkansas

The Missouri Tigers (15-3, 4-1 Southeastern) sought their fourth straight SEC-win after losing their opener to Auburn, as they hosted Battle Line rivals the Arkansas Razorbacks (11-7, 0-5 Southeastern) who were looking for their first conference win of the season. The hosts rode a first half shooting barrage to an 83-65 victory ensuring them a spot on the nations NCAA Tournament radar.

“This team has even more room to grow, we’re not even at our feet,” head coach Dennis Gates said. “I don’t think we’re playing well, I’m dead serious.”
