The Aggies went from an NCAA team to a bottom rung Big 12 team in just a season. The move to the SEC didn’t exactly help Kennedy light the world on fire, but before last season he hired Rick Stansbury, and at the same time as some of his younger recruits were maturing, Stansbury helped solidify some of the recruiting issues that A&M had been having, and suddenly the Aggies were considered one of the better teams in the SEC.
