At the University of Missouri, his name became synonymous with “Iron Man.” Tre’Vour Wallace-Simms owned the title. Appearing in 48 of 50 games throughout his college career from 2016-19, he was one of just two Missouri players who started every game in each of the last three seasons. All three of those years, he won the team’s Iron Man award for the most snaps played.
It’s not easy to drag him out of a football game.
So imagine the added desperation Wallace-Simms felt on top of physical symptoms as days turned into weeks this August and COVID-19 wouldn’t leave his body alone.
