COLUMBIA, Mo. — Before he signed off of last week’s Zoom video conference, Missouri football coach Eliah Drinkwitz playfully jabbed reporters for not asking him about his players.
“I look forward to the day when you all ask me questions about our football team, specifically about who’s going to play quarterback,” he said. “Who’s been really good at O-line?’ What are we going to do at left tackle? Right tackle? How nervous are we considered we’re going to play 10 SEC opponents? Can our ‘D-line’ hold up? How do we feel about our linebacker corps? Who’s really stepped up at the Mike linebacker position?
