COLUMBIA, Mo. — Eli Drinkwitz is relinquishing control of the Missouri football team — for a day. The Tigers coach put the rosters and staffs for Saturday’s spring game in the hands of his players. The Tigers conducted a live draft Wednesday with two pairs of captains selecting the teams.
“They’re running it,” Drinkwitz said this week. “I’m just going to be back there blowing the whistle.”
Saturday’s 1 p.m. scrimmage at Memorial Stadium is open to the public and free to attend. It will be streamed live on SEC Network-Plus. After the game, players will stick around for autographs on Faurot Field.
