COLUMBIA, Mo. — On his third official day as Missouri’s football coach, Eliah Drinkwitz headed east to shore up the work Barry Odom’s staff started. Drinkwitz made the rounds in St. Louis on Thursday, visiting with a variety of high school coaches and recruits, including several 2020 prospects who committed to the Tigers under Odom’s staff.
The three-day early signing period for high school and junior college recruits will start Wednesday, which explains why Drinkwitz didn’t waste any time acquainting himself with I-70 this week.
“Recruiting is all about trying to build a relationship,” he said at Tuesday’s introductory press conference.
