Drew Lock injured his hand in Monday night’s preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Now, the rookie’s preseason appears to be over.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported through a source that the second-round pick was diagnosed with a bad sprain following an MRI on this throwing hand. Lock injured the hand in his second play of the third quarter.
The former Missouri quarterback scrambled left and escaped a sack by Jeremiah Valoaga before being tripped up by Marcell Harris, falling toward the ground while he tried to flip the ball out of his hands to avoid the sack.
