COLUMBIA, Mo. — Kobe Brown and D’Moi Hodge have taken turns playing the role of Missouri’s lead Tiger this season, but Dennis Gates’ team isn’t built for a one-man show.
That’s why he spent more than two hours in his car late Wednesday night with DeAndre Gholston. The Tigers had just gotten back from their loss at Arkansas. Gates asked Gholston to ride with him on the 12-mile drive from Columbia Regional Airport to Mizzou Arena. The senior wing had scored just seven points with as many fouls (two) and turnovers (two) as rebounds (two).
