Now that the NFL draft has come and gone and free agency has kicked off, here’s an annual look at former Missouri players across the NFL.
A handful of former Tigers remain unsigned or were recently cut, including offensive lineman Justin Britt, tight end Sean Culkin, running back Marcus Murphy and linebacker Kentrell Brothers. Jacquies Smith, Kony Ealy and Shane Ray were all out of the league last year and remain on the free agent market.
Then there’s the curious case of Markus Golden. The former Affton High and Mizzou standout is a free agent after posting a 10-sack season with the New York Giants last year, but he remains unsigned and the Giants have reportedly placed a rarely used one-year tender on the pass rusher.
