COLUMBIA, MO. • Missouri basketball coach Cuonzo Martin doesn’t worry about his program being ensnared in recruiting scandals, like the corruption case launched by the FBI that put 10 men behind bars this week, including four assistant coaches at major college programs.
Shortly before the Tigers held their first preseason practice Friday, the first-year coach made it clear he keeps a watchful eye over his program when it comes to following the rules.
“I am compliance,” he said. “I’ve always been a guy to stay on top of that, any little thing. Because at the end of the day it’s not worth it (to cheat).
