Friday’s 27-17 loss to Wake Forest in the Gasparilla Bowl only amplified the concerns this 6-7 season raised throughout all the narrow wins and losses, the two blowout defeats and one last setback that exposed an incomplete program, marked by a defense good enough to keep most games close but an offense incapable of closing those margins.
