The embattled and overmatched Anderson received the dreaded vote of confidence that wasn't much of a vote of confidence Wednesday evening three hours before the Tigers were set to open SEC play at home against LSU.
“I am aware that there are questions people have about our program, and while I appreciate that, the fact remains that we have more than half the season remaining,” Mizzou athletics director Jim Sterk said in a statement.
