So this is going to be brief because I was planning on penning a column on the SEC teams in the Elite 8. Then Arkansas and Texas Tech had to go into Overtime and kind of ruin my plans a bit. The Hogs lost, ending their “Cinderella” run. They had a 13 point lead with 4:43 to play, but Texas Tech was 3-24 from three point range at that point. Arkansas hit 7 of their first 12 threes.
But then Arkansas regressed, making just 2 of their next 12. And Tech finished with a flurry making 5 of their last 8, including their last two.
