Today we’re talking about closing the door on the past.
ABC 17 News broke the story surrounding former Mizzou Athletic Director Desiree Reed-Francois, whose abrupt exit left some open details around her contractual obligations being unfulfilled when they accepted the Arizona position, finally getting that closer with Mizzou. The two sides agreed to a settlement in the contract dispute to the tune of $2 million. Per the report, $1.5 million had already been paid to the school, with the remaining sum to be paid by DRF in some manner.
Initial terms in the contract would have seen Mizzou recoup $3 million.
