Coaches association reprimands MU's Earleywine

COLUMBIA, Mo. • The National Fastpitch Coaches Association Ethics Committee issued Missouri softball coach Ehren Earleywine a public reprimand for what it described as “questionable comments and actions during the last three years.”

The August edition of the NFCA newsletter states that Earleywine’s comments and actions in the media have resulted in “embarrassment for the sport of softball, the University of Missouri and the Southeastern Conference.”

As a member of the NFCA, Earleywine is required to abide by the association’s code of ethics, the newsletter stated. The NFCA listed four violations of that code from stories published by espnW.
