COLUMBIA, Mo. • The Missouri Tigers completed nonconference play Saturday with a 81-50 victory over Savannah State behind Wes Clark’s career-high 22 points at Mizzou Arena. The Tigers begin Southeastern Conference action at 7-6, one game ahead of last year’s pace through nonconference play. Kim Anderson’s team plays at Georgia on Wednesday.
After losing three straight to Arizona, North Carolina State and Illinois, the Tigers had no trouble with the two weakest opponents on the schedule, outscoring Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Savannah State by a combined 84 points.
