Curses aren’t real. But if they were, I’m pretty sure one has been hanging around Mizzou (1-2-1) soccer for quite a while and was on full display in their 2-0 loss against St. Louis University (1-0-2) on Sunday, August 25.
For the past three games Mizzou has put on a plethora of shots towards goalies, sending creative set pieces, pure skill and various other strategies to break the barrier. But they haven’t been rewarded for these efforts, seeing one goal in their last 270 minutes of action. So that begs the question: could there be a curse placed on the Tiger offense?
