This year's World Series is only beginning this weekend, but two of the walk-in legal sportsbooks in the area already have posted odds on teams to win the 2025 Fall Classic.
The Cardinals, who are facing many key player retention questions, are far down the lists — 60-1 at DraftKings (Casino Queen in East St. Louis) and FanDuel (horse track in Collinsville). There are 20 teams that have lower odds at FanDuel, 19 at DraftKings. The other parlor, ESPN Bet (Argosy casino in Alton), did not have a price listed as of Friday afternoon.
Not surprisingly, this year's Series participants are at the top of the odds heap to win next year.
