Breaking News: DE Darris Smith to miss 2024 with knee injury

In the realm of “no news is good news” the Missouri Football program was having a really terrific offseason. Aside from the Phillip Roche kerfuffle, Eli Drinkwitz’s program had done their job of not generating anything that required a headline.

Until today when the program announced Junior Defensive End Darris Smith would miss the 2024 season with a knee injury. The Georgia transfer had been reported as having a terrific camp and was looking like a potential breakout player for a defense looking to retool on the defensive line.
