Mizzou head coach Cuonzo Martin likes to work quietly in recruiting. His no-nonsense approach makes life harder on those trying to track the Tigers’ plans, but it’s his style.
Early Saturday evening, Martin struck again in near-stealth mode when post Jordan Wilmore uploaded an announcement into his Instagram story. The 7-foot-3, 245-pound prospect, who plays for The Skill Factory Prep, let the image — no caption, no hype — speak for itself: Committed.
With the decision, Wilmore becomes the first prospect to join a 2020 class that had started slowly. In early, August, Cam’Ron Fletcher, the Tigers’ top wing target, went off the board to Kentucky.
