After Friday’s snowstorm complicated the Tigers’ travel plans, MU players and coaches were able to leave Columbia, Mo., on Saturday morning via bus and fly to South Carolina from Kansas City International Airport.
Shortly before Mizzou’s flight was set to leave Friday from Columbia Regional Airport, an incoming commercial flight slid off the runway, causing the airport to shut down both of its runways. With MU unable to get out of Columbia on Friday, both schools worked with the Southeastern Conference and agreed to postpone the game until Mizzou’s traveling party could find another way to South Carolina.
