Before Jeremiah Tilmon spent Sunday afternoon showing a Sprint Center and pay-per-view audience why his new coaches continue to rave about his potential impact on this highly anticipated Missouri basketball season, the freshman forward was asked to share his memories of the historic rivalry Mizzou and Kansas had agreed to stoke.
He blanked.
"What border war?" Tilmon said Saturday afternoon, after he swished a 3-pointer and half-court heave at Mizzou Madness.
He was not attempting to dodge questions about KU, a school he once had interest in as a recruit. He seemed genuinely curious about the history behind the upcoming charity exhibition.
