If asked to predict the question that prompted a bit of a snarl from embattled Bulldogs coach Mark Fox, I would have figured the topic would have been his slipping job security, not this season's lone poor performance from his star player.
But Georgia thumped Vanderbilt on Wednesday night in the opening game of the SEC tournament. The ninth-year Bulldogs coach kept his job for another day. UGA's win secured a Thursday afternoon meeting with Mizzou.
Fox must have needed something to be surly about.
So, he decided to growl at a seemingly harmless question.
Naturally, the thought of a Georgia-Missouri rematch directs folks back to the last time the Bulldogs and Tigers played.
