I had wondered why Cox looked so frustrated after he beat Ivan Yankouski of Belarus 4-1 to win the gold medal reserved for the 92-kilogram weight class.

It was Yankouski who spent most of the match stalling, twice accepting penalties for the act. It was Yankouski who intentionally, strategically delayed the action and hinged his hopes of winning on a late takedown attempt.
