COLUMBIA, Mo. — Now two weeks into on-campus voluntary workouts, the Missouri football offseason is starting to resemble normalcy — as normal as possible in a world of pandemic-driven social distancing.
On Wednesday, the NCAA Division I Council approved a model for preseason workouts, allowing teams that start their season Sept. 5 — Mizzou included — to conduct up to eight hours per week of weight training, conditioning and film review from July 13-23, then 20 hours per week of team activities July 24 to Aug. 6, followed by the start of regular preseason camp on Aug. 7.
