Arkansas faces Mizzou in danger of winless SEC season

The first-year Arkansas coach reached his breaking point with Saturday’s 52-6 loss to Mississippi State. The Razorbacks, already 0-6 in the Southeastern Conference when they kicked off in Starkville, Miss., were at their worst over the next three hours.

Three fumbles. Nine penalties. Three turnovers. Five sacks allowed. Outrushed 287 yards to 68. And two cases of unsportsmanlike flirting.

“Losing will never be accepted in this program,” Morris told reporters Monday in Fayetteville, Ark. “It was completely unacceptable Saturday and it’s still completely unacceptable today.”

As if the results on the field weren’t bad enough, starting defensive backs Ryan Pulley and Kamren Curl were later suspended for socializing with members of the Mississippi State dance team before the game.
