COLUMBIA, MO. • Kim Anderson catches up with his past in the Missouri basketball team’s one and only public exhibition game this preseason when Central Missouri visits Mizzou Arena for Friday’s 7 p.m. tipoff.
Anderson spent a dozen years at the Division II program in Warrensburg, leading the Mules to three NCAA Final Fours and the 2014 national championship.
His successor at UCM knows Anderson’s legacy well. It’s why he’s wanted this game on the schedule.
“We’re really fortunate Coach Anderson gave us the opportunity,” Mules coach Doug Karleskint said. “A lot of people don’t get too excited about exhibition games, but with everyone involved in this game, the community here is really excited.
