COLUMBIA, MO. • When he moved to Columbia last summer for the final chapter of a promising but unfulfilled college basketball career, Kassius Robertson made a promise to himself.
“I have to look back at Missouri,” he said last July, “and make sure I’m really happy with my decision.”
That’s likely to come true, and the graduate transfer has surely lived up to his end of the bargain — and them some. Recruited by Cuonzo Martin’s staff as a 3-point specialist who could help spread the team on the floor and bring it closer together off, Robertson has been Mizzou’s most surprising story.
