After Mizzou cameo, Gill commits to Kansas

COLUMBIA, Mo. • If things work out as planned for former Francis Howell lineman Harneet Gill, he could go down as the rare player to suit up for both Missouri and Kansas.

Gill, who only practiced for Mizzou and never appeared in a game, will transfer to Kansas after spending last year in junior college, he confirmed Tuesday via text message.

In 2012, Gill missed his senior year at Francis Howell while recovering from a broken foot, a Lisfranc fracture, suffered during the preseason. After signing with Mizzou as part of the 2013 recruiting class, Gill left the team during the first week of preseason camp.
