COLUMBIA, Mo. • Chase Abbington, a former four-star tailback recruit from Fort Zumwalt South, has completed his final course at junior college and will enroll at Missouri next week, he said in a text message. Abbington's status for the upcoming season had been uncertain this summer. He attended Hutchinson, Kan., Community College the last two years.
Asked about Abbington at SEC media days earlier this month, MU coach Gary Pinkel said, "Chase is finishing up class right now, but he's obviously a tremendous athlete. He's out of St. Louis and a guy with great athleticism.
